He'll be taking an advisory role for the company.
Jan Wiechers is an expert in technology monetisation and business development, based in New York. He has more than 10 years of consulting and sales experience across the US, EMEA and Asia.
He was heavily involved in the global monetisation of Youtube from the early days, having attracted large partnerships for the company while establishing a number of new brands on the platform and project-managing cross-functional global teams for the world's leading video provider.
While at Google Jan worked as a Brand Evangelist, amongst other things, under Chief Evangelist Gopi Kallayil for over 5 years in Google's Dublin, New York and Silicon Valley offices. He was awarded with the Google Gold Award, Platinum Award, Vice President Award and One EMEA Award - the four highest recognitions for outstanding performance and leadership on a global level.
