External Updates

‍

Composable Finance

Composable is focused on executing its trustless bridging and composability roadmap. Their priorities include focusing on the KSM/DOT bridge and adding collators to allow for collating. They plan to finalize their oracle by the end of Q1 and build out a plan for public democracy of their networks.

Composable is also dedicated to delivering decentralization and is in the process of launching the Composable Foundation to move towards full decentralization for the protocol, technologies, and governance. The foundation will support Composable's mission to enhance interoperability in DeFi and promote decisions and actions in alignment with its core purposes.

Lastly, Composable is committed to supporting its partners and collaborators, with new progress in their Centauri testnet and joint-innovation efforts coming soon.

peaq Network

Peaq has made several product launches recently. The first one is peaq control, which is a command and control center for all connected machines. The second launch is the peaq EoT demo app, which enables users to add demo machines to peaq control and use them in the EoT. Additionally, the Raspberry Pi Community Initiative allows users to connect physical IoT devices to a network in the peaq ecosystem and earn rewards. In other news, the first project to be accepted in the peaq ecosystem grant program is Dapplooker.

Element Finance

Element Finance has released a new Governance UI that is built on top of the Council Kit. Council Kit is a new suite of tools that includes a reference UI and SDK for developing on top of the Council Protocol smart contracts. With the new Governance UI, users can participate in Element's on-chain governance and make decisions regarding the direction of the platform. The release of Council Kit is expected to enable developers to easily build on top of Element Finance's platform and create their own governance mechanisms.

Panoptic

Panoptic published an extensive product explanation with application examples and continued to share research with its community. Furthermore, the company’s representation at ETH Denver was a success for the entire organization.

Arweave

According to Arweave team members, the developers have constantly been working hard to deliver new features for the community.Recent updates include Reddit artifacts, improvements to discoverability, and integration with STAMP.

Quasar Finance

The team has started their final Mainnet sprint and has been working the entire month tirelessly to bring positive changes to the way users engage with DeFi. They are determined to give their best to achieve their goal. Furthermore their twitter community is thriving and they are close to hitting 30.000 followers.

MYSO Finance

MYSO has announced the launch of its zkSync testnet, allowing users to test Zero-Liquidation Loans on zkSync with the newly available wETH/USDC pool. Users can access the testnet through the provided link.

Mero

During the month of February, the Mero pools provided by Curve Finance and Convex Finance experienced a surge in yields, resulting in a substantial increase in Total Value Locked (TVL) in these pools. Over the past few months, the TVL in these pools has doubled, indicating a growing interest in Mero.

Contango

Contango continued to build out its UI according to the team’s robust building expertise and feedback from the community to make decentralized expirable trading more user-friendly and increase the user experience.

Maverick

In February, Maverick announced that the mainnet launch is close and the team is working hard to deliver on a timely manner. Furthermore, Maverick benefits from immense community support while building new features.

Neon Labs

Neon Foundation has announced the launch of its Early Builders Program, which aims to bring pioneering projects onboard to NeonEVM. The program promises to provide all the necessary resources, marketing, support, and tools required to build dApps of the future.

Obol

The team, has announced that the first DV cluster on Mainnet Ethereum has been operational since December 30 and has achieved an impressive efficiency rating of 98.6%. The team is excited to share this milestone as it marks the first phase of their Road to Mainnet journey. They plan to use this opportunity to discuss their design philosophy and approach.

Manta,

The launch of Manta Network, is imminent and the team has announced that the launch sequence has been initiated. They have accomplished the first step in this process by securing a parachain slot, which is cause for celebration.

Light

The team is extremely proud of their users and their achievements. So far, over 2,000 users have utilized Light v1 to shield approximately $1.5 million. It is worth noting that this growth has been entirely organic, as there has been very little marketing done. These users are primarily utilizing Light v1 to protect their privacy while conducting various activities on Solana, such as swapping, paying others, and collecting NFTs.

Alluo Finance

Alluo is elaborating on its product benefits and hosted several twitter spaces for its community. For example, AutoInvest, Alluo's investment tool, is entirely composable and accessible for others to utilize in their own projects.

Pendulum Chain

Pendulum and Amplitude Chain are now fully integrated into Polkaholic io! Polkaholic is a powerful platform that offers a variety of useful tools, including the ability to check balances and transactions across parachains, review past blocks and transactions, keep informed about specification updates, and track XCM transactions.

Fractal Protocol

The company has teamed up with Alliance DAO. The company's identity services are now accessible to all of Alliance DAO's portfolio companies, including renowned projects such as dYdX and Stepn. By working together, both companies aim to contribute towards developing the web3 ecosystem.

Talisman launched several community-building initiatives and continued to improve its product.

NEAR Protocol

In February, the Near Foundation announced several key partnerships and developments in the Near ecosystem. This included a partnership with NYU for a Web3 learning workshop, former NBA player Baron Davis building a platform for photographers on Near, and Near House in collaboration with Supermoon. Near also partnered with Recur and joined Figment-powered Ledger Live for digital asset management. Marieke Flament also spoke about the importance of greater participation from women in MENA for Web3.

Sentinel dVPN

Sentinel has launched its new website for its decentralized virtual private network (dVPN) at http://sentinel.co, with some sections to be updated soon. The new site features a real-time tracker that shows the amount of tax distributed to stakers from revenue earned by nodes.
